This year, A&M Recycling participated in various truck and old-timer tours for charity. We took part in tours through Spijkenisse, Ridderkerk, Vlaardingen and the Hoeksche Waard.
At the beginning of April, we participated in the 20th edition of Spijkenisse Truckrun. On this day, people with special needs were given rides in our trucks. They had a wonderful day thanks to the organisation and the participants. A great initiative, because at the end of the day everyone went home smiling!
On King's Day this year, we drove our truck in a tour through Ridderkerk, organised by the foundation 'Help eens een Handje'. An event that was organised for the 21st time this year, with the aim of giving people with mental disabilities a wonderful day. After the tour a great ‘Orange’ party ensued, and everyone had an unforgettable King's Day.
On 25 June 2017, A&M Recycling drove the Haringrit (Herring Ride) 2017 in Vlaardingen with our old-timer. The traditional Haringrit was organised by the Round Table Project Foundation 2017 and the proceeds went entirely to charity.
Finally, on Sunday 3 September we participated in the annual old-timer ride through the Hoeksche Waard. This was the 29th edition with an average of 150 to 200 participants. Naturally, the A&M Recycling Chevrolet 3100 took part in the ride!
